Got Gospel Compilation Features Ricky Dillard’s New G and Valencia Lacy and Unquenchable Worshippers
Chicago’s own Ricky Dillard and New Generation Chorale and Valencia Lacy and Unquenchable Worshippers are featured on Got Gospel?, the new CD compilation release from Habakkuk Music and Black Gospel Promo.
The New Generation Chorale hails as one of Chicago’s finest singing aggregations headed by choir master Ricky Dillard. Valencia Lacy has established herself as a dynamic Praise and Worship leader and is widely known for her composition Yes recorded by Chicago’s Shekinah Glory Ministry.
This is a dream come true for Black Gospel Promo founder Veda Brown. For a few years now, Brown has had the desire to create a compilation CD of gospel songs to market via her firm and now the time has finally come. “I’ve been wanting to do this for years,” says Brown, who is based in Philadelphia, PA. “So many of my friends in the industry have stepped up and allowed us to use their songs for this project and I’m grateful,” says Brown. “Indie labels and artists have become a major force in music so we’ve selected some of the best indie tracks to create a must-have CD compilation.”
Got Gospel? features 14 tracks from leading gospel recording artists including Vickie Winans, Rance Allen, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Clint Brown and Bryan Wilson as well as newcomers Cheneta Jones, William McDowell and Gail Homes.
