The Annual Chicago Gospel Festival was held on the weekend of June 5 and 6, 2010. To kick off this awesome weekend, The Chicago Chapter of The National Recording Academy (Grammy) hosted a Kick-Off Reception to celebrate the Fest and to welcome artists scheduled to perform during the festival weekend. Chicago’s own Kenny Lewis & One Voice performed during the entire weekend. Their performances started on Friday morning at ABC 11AM Morning News, then at the Kick-Off Reception on Saturday.

There were a number of artists, managers, record label owners, producers, song writers and producers in attendance including: Donald Lawrence (Recording Academy/Chicago Chapter Trustee), Mark Hubbard (Recording Academy/Chicago Chapter Governor) Andre Ambrose, Bishop Darrell Hines (Milwaukee, WI), Joyce Hurley, JJ Hairston, and Edwin Hawkins.

ChicagoGospel.com Bureau Chief, Artist Manager, and Grammy Chicago Chapter Gospel Committee Co-Chair Wanda Ewing was also in attendance to network and report on this awesome event.
