By Wanda Ewing - Chicago’s own Reshanda Henderson, writer and producer of the hit stage play, “What Every Woman Wants In A Man,” held her final performance of the play here in Chicago at Kenwood Auditorium before going on tour later this year.

D’Atra Hicks from Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Family Reunion” and “What’s Done In The Dark,” starred in this play along with actor/model, Keeland Ellis.

The story was about a young lady who found the strength to leave an abusive relationship, and again found the strength to receive the blessing of a balanced man of God who wanted to love her and treat her like the queen that God created her to be.

The storyline was interesting, funny, and serious…which brought out a balance of emotions from the viewer which definitely garnered the respect of all media representatives in attendance, including ChicagoGospel.com.
