By Gregory Gay - Octogenarian and The Reigning Queen of Gospel, Dr. Albertina Walker is making plans for her annual Albertina Walker Scholarship Foundation benefit concert to be held on Monday, August 30th at the New Covenant Baptist Church. 

For over 20 years, the Albertina Walker Scholarship Foundation for the Creative and Performing Arts has offered financial assistance to college students enrolled in music programs. The concert which is held around Dr. Walker’s birthday (August 29th) draws in gospel talent from across the country.
